ধুঁকে ধুঁকে চলা লোকসানি প্রতিষ্ঠান টেলিটক চীন থেকে কঠিন শর্তে ঋণ নিচ্ছে। এই ঋণের আওতায় সব ধরনের পণ্য চীন থেকেই কিনতে বাধ্য টেলিটক। ফলে বেশি দামে নিম্নমানের যন্ত্রপাতি দিয়েই নেটওয়ার্ক সম্প্রসারণের কাজ করতে যাচ্ছে প্রতিষ্ঠানটি।
টেলিটক জন্মাবধি রুগ্ণ এবং সব সরকারের সময়ই প্রতিষ্ঠানটির কেনাকাটা নিয়ে বড় ধরনের দুর্নীতির অভিযোগ রয়েছে। আর এখন সরকারি মালিকানার এই মোবাইল ফোন কোম্পানিটি নতুন করে চীন থেকে ২১ কোটি ১০ লাখ ডলার বা প্রায় এক হাজার ৫০০ কোটি টাকা ঋণ নেওয়ার প্রস্তুতি প্রায় সম্পন্ন করেছে।
